SCOPE OF WORK: Pinnacle performed as Prime Contractor in this project that consisted of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials, supplies, testing, and supervision required to demolish and reconstruct the playground at the Childcare Development Center at the Defense Supply Center in Columbus, OH.
The existing 8,000 square feet of playground was removed in two phases to keep the playground partially operational during construction. A poured-in-place system was used to resurface the playground to create a safe, seamless surface in all play zones. In order to meet current safety standards within play zones, a cushion layer was installed under play equipment averaging 2.5” thickness for critical fall height.
